A Certified Appraisal includes a Certificate of Appraisal along with the attendant work sheets. The inspection is performed by an NAAA certified appraiser and includes a visual examination of the external surfaces of the aircraft, the cockpit and the passenger cabin; along with an inventory and assessment of the condition of avionics, instrumentation and aircraft systems. The log books and other aircraft records will be carefully examined for compliance with FAA regulations relating to maintenance, Airworthiness Directives, and damage history, along with other required inspections, signatures and certifications. No inspection plates are removed during the inspection.
